Fever Tracker is a family temperature, medicine, and symptom log built to be fast and private — this page explains, plainly, the little bit of data that touches the app at all.
Family member names and colors, every temperature reading (in °C or °F), medicine log entries, symptom log entries, your dose-threshold setting, and your unit preference are stored only in the app's local storage on your device (a local database and local preferences, both private to the app). We have no account system, no sign-in, and no server that receives any of this. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
Fever Tracker shows a small banner ad on the Chart screen and the Settings screen only — never on the Log screen where you record a reading, a dose, or a symptom, so logging something is never interrupted by an ad. Serving these ads uses Google AdMob, which may collect an advertising identifier and other device/usage signals to select and measure ads, under Google's own privacy policy. You can reset or delete your device's advertising ID in your Android system settings at any time.
If you're in the European Economic Area or the UK, Google's User Messaging Platform shows a consent form the first time you open the app, before any ad or analytics SDK starts collecting anything (Google Consent Mode defaults everything to denied until you choose). You can change your answer anytime from Settings → Manage ad consent. If you've purchased "Remove ads forever" (see below), the ad SDK never initializes at all on your device — not just hidden ads, no ad-related data collection either.
The Chart screen can render a high-resolution image of a family member's temperature and medicine history so you can share it — for example with a doctor. This image is generated entirely on your device and only ever leaves it when you tap Share and pick a destination (a messaging app, email, cloud storage, etc.) from Android's own share sheet. That transfer happens between you and the app you choose; Fever Tracker does not upload, transmit, or retain a copy of it anywhere.
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is actually used — which screens (Log, Chart, Settings, and the medicine/symptom entry screens) actually get opened, and how often a reading, medicine dose, or symptom gets logged, a family member gets added, or a chart gets shared. These events record only that the action happened, never its content: not a temperature value, not what medicine or symptom was entered, not a family member's name. This also includes general device/app information Firebase collects automatically (device model, OS version, rough country-level location derived from IP address, basic app-open/session counts); none of it identifies you personally, and we never combine it with anything else to try to. This data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
After you've tracked at least one full fever episode, the app may ask Android's own built-in Play Store review prompt to appear when you try to exit. We never see whether you rated the app, what you rated it, or any review text — that entire exchange happens between you and the Play Store, handled by Google.
The Settings screen and the exit prompt both offer a "Support the app" option: a one-time coffee tip ($0.99, $2.99, or $4.99 — a consumable purchase, buyable more than once, that unlocks nothing in return) or a one-time $2.99 "Remove ads forever" purchase (non-consumable — buy it once and ads are gone for good, restored automatically via Restore Purchases if you reinstall or switch devices). Every purchase is handled entirely by Google Play Billing: Fever Tracker never collects or sees your card number or other payment details, only a confirmation that a specific product was purchased.

Fever Tracker is a tool for a parent or guardian's own device to track their family's health at home; it is not directed at children as app users, and we do not collect personal information from anyone, including children — everything logged in the app, about any family member, stays on that device as described above. If you believe we've done something inconsistent with this, contact us at the address below and we'll act on it.
Your local data lives on your device until you delete it within the app or uninstall it. Ad-measurement data collected by Google AdMob, and usage data collected by Google Analytics for Firebase, are both retained under Google's own retention policies.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the effective date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you've accepted the update.
